Mountain Sprouts Preschool is a nature, art and inquiry-based learning program. We believe that children learn best in a nurturing environment that supports their sense of curiosity and independence. By guiding the child's innate desire to explore and discover the world around them, we instill a lifetime love of learning. Our daily schedule includes time for group gatherings, nature walks, outdoor play, art, food preparation and opportunities for language and reading development. At Mountain Sprouts we understand the importance of the whole child and foster all aspects of development including social, emotional, cognitive and the physical well being. Our residential setting in Southeast Bozeman's 'Tree Streets' provides direct access to over 40 acres of open space trails offers endless exploration of nature including birding and plant identification. Our low student to teacher ratio of 1:6 allows us to provide individualized instruction in a peaceful atmosphere. Taking from many philosophies, we offer a unique program that believes in a child led curriculum, creative expression, development of life skills, and an appreciation of nature and community.
